CSPE®/Hypalon®

What is CSPE® Wire?

CSPE® (Chlorosulphonated Polyethylene) possesses great tear and impact strength, impressive weathering properties while also displaying excellent resistance to chemical, abrasion, ozone and oil materials. It is primarily used as a 105°C rated motor lead wire insulation. Further useful properties include great flame and high temperature resistance, low moisture absorption and dielectric properties.

Advantages of CSPE® Wire

  • Capable of surviving high temperatures
  • UV Stability
  • Can withstand exposure to direct sunlight with limited damage to electrical and mechanical properties
  • Ideal for extreme conditions and environments due to its flexibility and tough physical properties
  • Increased chemical inertness compared to other materials used in wire.
